The mission of the Pollinate Foundation is to combat the epidemic of loneliness in our world by creating initiatives that help humans build lives and communities from a connected, soul-centered space. We believe this is fundamentally achieved by providing consistent time and space for humans to build deep connections with each other in intersectional, welcoming and innovative places.

Pollinate Hive House is a pilot project located in Windsor Heights Iowa. Through the project we are testing the impact of building a therapeutic community within a neighborhood. The Hive House provides therapeutic services and community programming to a variety of demographics inside and outside of the neighborhood.

City Sounds strives to transform the Des Moines community culture through music, animating common spaces and making artistic creation accessible to all.

he Music Collective DSM (aka ‘The Collective’) was founded in March of 2023 by a group of Des Moines music industry professionals including musicians, venues, non-profit and for-profit promoters, production professionals, music media/marketing/ticketing professionals, cultural consultants and studios/labels to leverage this impact. The group, which is open to any industry professional interested in helping build the Des Moines music economy, meets every other month. Its goal is to work together to build a plan that will ensure the growth of the industry for decades to come. We are non-hierarchical, inclusive, intersectional organization. Those who make decisions are those who show up at the table.
